In The Australian’s critique of Louis Nowra’s Visions, Colin Robertson noted director John Milson’s “deep understanding of the playwright” and “an outstanding performance from Sally McKenzie as Madame Lynch and Jennifer Blocksidge as a most effective peasant girl …”.[i] Tickell from the Telegraph was even more enthusiastic – “Louis Nowra’s brilliantly perceptive play, Visions, which Brisbane Rep. currently is performing, is magnificent”.[ii]
