For Artists

La Boite Theatre is an artist-focused company, committed to supporting Queensland artists and creating opportunities for the next generation of theatre-makers. Through our flagship artist development program, Assembly, and a range of other initiatives, we champion new work, nurture creative talent and help build a thriving local theatre industry.

Let us know what you are up to!

Whatever your discipline or practice, we welcome invitations to performances. We’re a small, busy team, but we do our best to see as much work as we can. Please send invitations, with as much notice as possible.

While we’re unable to accept unsolicited scripts, we’re always interested in connecting with artists when capacity allows. If you’d like to meet with someone from our team to discuss your practice or a potential project please reach out to make a time.

We’re particularly interested in work that aligns with our vision, mission and values.
