Now in its 8th year, La Boite’s leading artist development initiative Assembly, returns in 2026 showcasing seven bold new works, each just 10 minutes long.
Created by a cohort of 7 writers, 7 directors and 14 actors, these fresh works are the result of a six-month creative journey shaped through masterclasses, mentorship and hands-on collaboration with industry professionals.
At a time when storytelling feels more urgent than ever, ASSEMBLY offers audiences a front-row seat to the ideas and voices shaping the future of Queensland theatre.
Presented across two showcase performances in the Roundhouse Theatre, this is your first chance to experience these new works — and discover the next generation of artists before everyone else.
