Join La Boite and a panel of Brisbane’s best stage managers as we delve into what it takes to run a process, beyond creating the perfect prompt copy and sending out schedules. From busting myths about what a stage manager actually does, to techniques for people management, facilitating safe and diverse spaces, and anticipating the curveballs of a production, participants will learn what it takes to be the glue that sticks a group of creatives together.
This event is an excellent opportunity for not only budding stage managers, but directors and producers who want to learn how to set the tone in the rehearsal room and feel confident shepherding a production from beginning to end.
